Viskill Vodka

750 ml 40% alc/vol, 80 Proof

Viskill Vodka is an exceptionally smooth vodka of the highest quality. Distilled from New York State Winter Wheat, Viskill Vodka is the ideal sipping vodka.  Distilled one time and filtered continuously for 3 days with carbonized coconut shells, this spirit offers a complexity that is unique and highly sought after by vodka aficionados. 

Our unique spirit takes it's name from the original Dutch for the Fishkill Creek that meanders for 33 miles through the Hudson Valley. It was this creek that provided a safe haven for the Continental soldiers during the Revolutionary War-- a wonderful, historical image. We included the blue sash  on our bottle~ inspired by the blue sash worn by the commanding generals to differentiate themselves from the foot soldiers.

LAUGHTER IN THE RAIN

1 piece (1 inch) peeled cucumber, chopped

2 ounces Viskill Vodka

1/2 ounce peach liqueur, preferably Mathilde

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/4 ounce simple syrup

1 strip lemon zest

1 strip cucumber peel

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon zest and cucumber peel.
